03 What you can earn
Your pay scales with your hustle

The more days you're available and the more capacity you run, the more we can route to you. Here's what that's looked like at the top of our network:

What our best haulers earn
Up to $9,000 / week

That's a strong week for one of our top hauling partners — full crew, high availability, real volume. On a typical job, haulers earn roughly $100–$300 depending on the size of the load. What you take home comes down to your truck, your helpers, and the days you choose to work.

Based on real hauler payouts — individual earnings vary by vehicle, crew, and availability.

06 Questions
Hauler FAQ

How do I get jobs?

+
JunkRabbit routes jobs to you — you're not bidding on a board or racing other haulers. Customers book and pay through us; when a job matches your coverage area and the availability you set, it lands in your app with the address, item list, photos, and the exact payout. You accept it and go.

Do I choose my own schedule?

+
Yes. You set your availability — the days and time windows you want to work — right in the app, and you can change it whenever. We only route jobs to you during the availability you've set. Work full-time, weekends only, or pick up jobs around another gig; it's up to you.

What does it cost to join?

+
Nothing. There's no franchise buy-in, no monthly membership, and no per-lead fee just to see the work. It's free to join the network and start getting jobs routed to you.

How and when do I get paid?

+
We collect payment from the customer up front, so you're never chasing money or handling cash. Your earnings are paid out by direct deposit on a weekly schedule. Every job shows exactly what it pays before you accept it.

How much can I make?

+
It scales with how much you work and how much capacity you run — your truck, your helpers, and the days you make yourself available. As an example, one of our top hauling partners' best week came out to $9,000, and a typical job pays roughly $100–$300. Your number will depend on your setup and your city.

What vehicle do I need?

+
Anything you can load junk into and haul to disposal — a pickup, cargo van, box truck, or a trailer. Bigger capacity (a box truck or dump trailer) means fewer trips and more jobs per day, but you can start with what you've got.

Do I need insurance?

+
Yes — a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance are required, and we'll ask for proof during onboarding. If you carry general liability coverage, tell us — it opens up the doorman and managed-building jobs that require a Certificate of Insurance.

Do I need a helper?

+
Not for everything, but a second set of hands makes the bigger furniture-and-appliance jobs faster and safer — and lets you take on more per day. Many of our busiest partners run a two-person crew.

Do I keep the tips?

+
Yes — tips from customers are 100% yours to keep, on top of your job pay.

Where do I take the junk?

+
You haul it to the right disposal, transfer station, or donation/recycling site for your city. During onboarding we walk you through the dump locations, fees, and rules local crews actually use in your metro, so you always know where to go and what it costs.

What areas are you in?

+
We're onboarding haulers in New York, Miami, and San Francisco — and expanding city by city. Tell us where you are when you apply — even if we're not fully live in your metro yet, we want to know you.

How fast can I start?

+
Once you apply and clear the quick call, background check, and paperwork, onboarding on the app takes minutes. Most of the wait is just the background check and getting your documents in.
Ready to roll?
Put your truck to work.

Tell us your city and your setup — we'll take it from there.
